Looking a the storm brewing above their heads over the Great Hall, the brunette stared out at the gray clouds and raindrops. She was humming under her breath, and continued to watch the growing brew in the heavens. Boredom wasn't pretty on a Saturday morning and she wondered why she was awake so early. She blinked as though she felt a drop of the pouring rain and looked around the nearly empty hall.

Darya didn't like the rain much and wished she could be flying. She supposed she should be grateful it was rain and not snow. It was warm that January morning and the air was cool, but at least no winter storms are the horizon. She sat there in silence and was drawing the Quidditch field on a napkin. It saw how much she miss flying, and at in the less bit moody.

Darya was about finish with her drawing when she heard a familiar voice nearby. It was then she noticed she wasn't so alone and looked up, peering at a face of a dear friend. She smiled up at Spencer. "Hi Spence." She said softly and looked up at the ceiling/sky. A lighting bolt crushed through the sky and she winced a bit. "Nice weather, huh?"

Darya sighed, frowning a bit and shifted as Spence sat down so she may look upon his face as she talked with him. She fussed with her skirts and settled down. "Let's see. Bored, miserable, hmm, anxious a bit. Want to go out, but it's thunder and lightening out there." She replied and smiled. "What about your morning?" She said and placed her chin in her hand as she held herself upright.

Smirking and laughing, Darya nodded. "Well, there is some fun in risk taking, but not during t-storms, at least not now." She stated. "I perfer the more relaxing rain to this." She shook her head and looked up then down again. She gazed at Spence and tilted her head back. "I'm amazed at yourself too," she teased.

Darya wiggled her eyebrows and barked with laughter. "Well, that's so true," she said and gazed at her friend. "I'm impress, Spencer Royce." She raised her head and looked up at the sky again before returning to glance at him. "A lightening rod? Hmmm, that would be good to have." She mused back thoughtfully. "Maybe a nice picture too." She stated randomedly.
